New Delhi: Former Miss Switzerland finalist Kristina Joksimovic was brutally murdered by her husband in her house. The accused husband's name is Thomas who strangled his wife Kristina to death. Not only this, to hide his crime, he cut his wife's body into pieces, after which to hide the crime, her body parts were ground in a mixer and dissolved in acid.
But he could not escape the eyes of the police. Finally the police caught him, where he confessed his crime. But what he told the police during interrogation surprised the police as well. Along with this, he also said that he killed his wife in self-defense and he was afraid of her death, so he cut her body into pieces.
The body was strangled to death before being cut into pieces
This heinous crime came to light in February when Joksimovic's mutilated body was found. Authorities began investigating and immediately concluded that he was strangled before being killed. The police took Thomas into custody for this crime. Along with this, Thomas sought bail from the court, which was rejected by the federal court.
Swiss media outlet Today reported that Thomas dismembered his wife's body using a saw, knife and glass. Later, he put them in a chemical solution to melt them. Even the authorities were horrified by the brutality of his crime.
Thomas claims Christina attacked him first with a knife
Thomas claimed he killed his wife in self-defense and alleged that Christina had attacked him with a knife. However, medical reports contradicted his statement. The autopsy revealed that her body was brutally dismembered, raising doubts over his self-defense plea.
