The mosque committee was given 30 days' time
The Nagar Palika has given 30 days to the Masjid Committee for this. Along with this, they have given strict orders that either the Masjid Committee removes the illegal construction itself or the administration will demolish it. In such a situation, the Masjid Committee will have to either remove the illegal construction within 30 days or appeal against the order of the Nagar Palika.
Action will be taken against illegal construction
Let us tell you that on Friday, various Hindu organizations took out a rally in Mandi against the illegal construction of the mosque. Seeing this rally, the police also used water cannons to disperse the protesters. After the uproar in the market, Deputy Commissioner Market Apoorv Devgan said that action will be taken against illegal construction. The mosque will be sealed.
Electricity and water supplies were cut off
He said that there was no permission under TCP, so the department cut off electricity and water supply to the mosque. At present the mosque has not been sealed, the municipality is taking action. The land records of the land are in the name of the mosque, only there was some encroachment on the PWD land, which was demolished after demarcation.
What did CM Sukhu say on the mosque dispute?
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that a case of illegal construction has come to light in Mandi. A committee will be formed on the mosque dispute.
