Target to create three lakh Lakhpati Didis in Haryana, five thousand women will get drone training: Manohar Lal

Chandigarh, March 6 (HS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the Lakhpati Didi Mahasammelan organized in Karnal on Wednesday on the occasion of International Women's Day. On this day, programs were organized at 132 places across the state. Haryana assured full participation to fulfill the Prime Minister's goal of making Lakhpati Didi.

On this occasion, in the state level function, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that today is a very fortunate day, when the kind of schemes made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the welfare of half of the country's population, i.e. women, such a thought has never come to anyone's mind. had come. Accordingly, today Lakhpati Didi Mahasammelan is a unique program in itself. He expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for the Lakhpati Didi scheme.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that today this program has been organized at 132 places in Haryana and Haryana will also participate in the Prime Minister's goal of making Lakhpati Didi. In Haryana, three lakh sisters will be made Lakhpati Didi. Apart from this, drone training will also be given to five thousand sisters in the state. For this, five hundred self-help groups have been selected in the first phase. 10 women in each group will be given drone training. He said that women have a sense of bravery and dedication and women are also the backbone of the family, hence by taking forward the motherly power, the entire family moves forward. A woman works to strengthen 3 generations by becoming educated and empowered.

The Chief Minister said that about 55 thousand self-help groups have been formed in Haryana, with which about 6 lakh women are associated. Market access is necessary for these groups to sell their products, hence it was decided to establish common markets in every city and town, where self-help groups can sell their products. A common market has also been completed in Fatehabad.

The Chief Minister said that today women are moving forward in setting up small industries and for this they are required to take loans for which they have to give guarantee. To provide relief from this, a provision has been made in this budget to provide only guarantee of Rs 200 crore in the form of Venture Capital Fund, so that women do not have to give guarantee for the loan.

The conference was also addressed by Lok Sabha MP and BJP State President Nayab Saini, MP Sanjay Bhatia, Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission Chief Executive Officer Amarendra Kaur. On this occasion, a woman also demonstrated flying a drone. A large number of women including Rajya Sabha MP Krishna Panwar, MLA Ramkumar Kashyap, Harvindra Kalyan, Dharampal Gondar were present in the conference.
