Korba 12 September (H.S.). Weight festival is to be organized in 2598 Anganwadi centers in the district, in which weight festival will be celebrated in all Anganwadi centers from 12 to 23 September to get information about the actual status of weight and height of all children from 0 to 06 years. In this series, today under the Nutrition Campaign, “National Nutrition Month 2024” was organized and the Weight Festival was inaugurated in village Pandaripani Sector Dumardih under the Women and Child Development Department Korba.
On this occasion, Renu Prakash District Program Officer, Mamta Tuli Project Officer, and Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Pandaripani Madankini Kanwar and local women and children were present. Addressing the women, the DPO gave detailed information about the importance of Nutrition Month and information regarding the weight level and good nutrition of the child in the weight festival, information about his nutrition level and advice can be obtained completely free of cost from Anganwadi centers. In this sequence, the promotional vehicle of Poshan Rath has been dispatched for National Nutrition Month 2024. This Poshan Rath will travel to various gram panchayats of the district and work to make people aware.
