Raids have been conducted at the homes of agents Bobby Patel and Raju Patel who send people abroad. A raid was also conducted at the residence of 5 people including agent Bhavesh Patel, in which suspicious digital data was found, which was confiscated.
According to the information, ED has conducted raids in Ghatlodia, Naranpura, Gandhinagar of Ahmedabad including Delhi, Kolkata and Maharashtra. Agents of all four states together were running an international racket. Bobby Patel and his partner Charanjit Singh used to charge Rs 75 lakh from an individual, Rs 1.25 crore from a couple and Rs 1.50 crore from a child. The agents formed groups on social media with agents from Mexico, European countries, USA and Canada and connected with each other through the Go on America application. Passport was also found in ED raid.
