Accused arrested with weapons brought from Madhya Pradesh, case registered under Arms Act | News India

Ludhiana: The team of Ludhiana's Crime Branch 3 has arrested an accused who had bought two pistols and two revolvers from Madhya Pradesh with the intention of selling weapons in the city. Crime Branch ASI Bhupinder Singh said that the arrested accused has been identified as Vikas Kumar, resident of village Buttar, police station Badhni Kalan, Moga.

Giving information, Bhupinder Singh said that the police party was patrolling in Rokman Chowk. During this time, the police saw that the accused was coming from Yard Chowk with a bag on his back. In the initial interrogation, the accused told the police that he had brought the recovered weapons from Madhya Pradesh. It has also come to light that the accused had to sell these weapons to someone in the city. Police say that many revelations are expected during the interrogation.
