New Delhi: In Monday's trading session, both the stock market indices opened with gains. Today Nifty and Sensex are trading on the rise.
This morning the Sensex opened at 73,959.75, up 153.60 points or 0.21 per cent. Nifty also reached 22,401 points with a gain of 62.25 points or 0.1 percent.

Among Sensex companies, shares of NTPC, Power Grid, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank and Maruti are trading rapidly. Shares of JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Titan and Mahindra & Mahindra declined.

Global oil benchmark Brent crude rose 0.11 percent to $83.64 a barrel. According to exchange data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 81.87 crore on Saturday.
