However, every year many people die due to drowning during Ganpati immersion. Gujarat High Court has also expressed concern in this matter. In such a situation, a major accident has come to light during Ganpati immersion in Patan district. In which 7 members of the same family who went to bathe Lord Ganesha drowned in the Saraswati river. Out of which 3 have been rescued, while the body of a young man has been found. Apart from this, the search for 3 others is going on.

According to the information received in this regard, members of the Prajapati family living in Verai Chakla area of ​​Patan city had gone to the Saraswati river for Ganesh immersion. While trying to save a drowning person, 7 people drowned one after the other in the deep water.

During this time, the local people present on the shore saved three people with the help of saree. While the other 4 members drowned in the water. When a local swimmer jumped into the water and tried to save him, the body of a young man was recovered.

On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, a convoy of local MLA, Mamlatdar, fire brigade and top officials of the police department reached the spot. At present, 3 other youths are being searched in the river. However, there is difficulty due to darkness. Apart from this, 8 to 108 ambulances have also been deployed on the banks of the river.
