Kolkata, September 11 (HS). The CBI, which is investigating the case of rape and murder of a junior woman doctor at RG Kar Medical College, on Wednesday questioned four junior doctors at its office in CGO Complex, Kolkata.
According to sources, these four junior doctors were called for questioning. So far only one person has been arrested in this case, whereas many arrests have been made in the case of financial irregularities related to the hospital. The CBI is trying to gather more evidence in this case so that the investigation can be accelerated. Till the time of writing the news, the questioning of the four junior doctors was going on.
During the hearing in the Supreme Court on Monday, the person who filed the PIL had expressed doubts on the postmortem procedure. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud had also asked some questions related to the postmortem and sought information about its documents from the state.
