Mahakaleshwar is a mythological temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Thousands of devotees come here to have darshan of Mahakal. It is true that the same crowd is seen on other days during Shravan month. Then the devotees coming here will not have to face jostling in the crowd to get prasad. Because the temple management has decided to install an ATM machine for prasad.
Prasad ATM will be installed
This decision has been taken in view of the increasing crowd at the Prasad counter. At present, there are 8 Prasad counters in the temple, but heavy crowds are seen here on festivals. In view of which, it has now been decided to install ATMs. In which, as soon as you deposit money, you will get Prasad in packets of 100 grams, 200 grams, 500 grams and kilo. Mahakal Temple Administrator Ganesh Dhakad said that a devotee from Delhi has asked to donate this Prasad ATM to the temple. These machines will be placed at all the 8 counters already running. Later, increasing its number will also be considered according to the situation. After the installation of these machines, the devotees coming here will not have to wait much for Prasad.
Prasad will be available even if the temple is closed
He said that after the installation of Prasad ATM, devotees will not have to face the crowd here. Not only this, these machines will remain operational even after the temple is closed and devotees will be able to easily get Prasad of that value by depositing the prescribed amount in the machine as per their convenience. According to the temple management, more than 50 quintals of gram flour laddu prasad will be prepared daily and then it will be distributed among the devotees from all the 8 counters.
There won't be any push
The special thing is that on normal days, prasad is easily distributed on eight counters, but during festivals and Shravan month, there is a lot of crowd. In such a situation, there is a situation of jostling at these counters. Apart from this, there is often confusion about the different weights of prasad, but the new system will get rid of all the hassles. After installing the Prasad ATM, the price of each weight of prasad will be written and as soon as the prescribed quantity is put in the machine, the prasad bag of that weight will come out.
Rate: 400 rupees per kg
At present, the price of Prasad available in Mahakal temple is Rs 400 per kg. On normal days, the temple management sells 30 to 40 kg of Prasad. But during festivals, the consumption of Prasad exceeds 50 quintals. According to the temple management, the Prasad of Mahakal temple is offered near Chintaman temple outside the city. From here, 5 lakh laddus were prepared and sent to Ayodhya during the Abhishek of Ramlala.
