Chittorgarh, September 10 (HS). 120 women from Gujarat performed Maharas dance on Tuesday at the famous Krishnadham Shri Sanwaliyaji temple located in Mandfia town of the district.
120 women devotees of Ahirani Group of Gujarat's Bhavnagar district reached Sanwaliyaji on Tuesday. Here they performed Maharas dance in the court of Lord Shri Sanwaliya Seth. A group of 120 women under the leadership of Yadav Ahir Samaj Gujarat's women state president Jahal Ben Ahir will reach Barsana Vrindavan on the occasion of Radha Ashtami and perform Maharas dance and dedicate this dance to Radha ji. Under this, this group reached Sanwaliyaji on Tuesday and presented Maharas dance in the temple premises of Lord Shri Sanwaliya Seth. Mansukh Bhai and Loma Bhai of Ahirani Group also reached Sanwaliyaji during this time.
On reaching Sanwaliyaji, this group was given a grand welcome by Bhairulal Soni, former member of Shri Sanwaliyaji Temple Board, Shobha Vaishnav from the pujari family of Sanwaliyaji Temple, Yadav Ahir Samaj Chittorgarh District President Ratanlal Ahir, Bhilwara District President Gopal including youths of Ahir community. In the Sanwaliyaji Temple premises, Administrative Officer II of Temple Board Nandkishore Taylor welcomed State President Jahal Ben by making him wear an uparna (upper garment) and presenting the prasad of Lord Shri Sanwaliya Seth. A completely devotional atmosphere was created during the presentation of Maharas dance in the temple of Lord Shri Sanwaliya Seth. The entire temple premises reverberated with Gujarati bhajans.
