Ranchi, September 10 (HS). The court of POCSO Special Judge Asif Iqbal on Tuesday sentenced Kaifi Khan, convicted of sexually abusing a minor, to three years imprisonment. He was also fined Rs 10,000. If he does not pay the fine, he will have to serve an additional three months in jail.
Regarding the incident, the victim had lodged a named FIR in Doranda police station on September 7, 2019. The police arrested him on the second day, September 8, 2019, and sent him to jail. During the hearing in the case, the APP recorded the testimony of five witnesses including the victim before the court, on the basis of which the youth was found guilty and sentenced.
