Narendra Singh took over as Principal Commissioner of Income Tax | News India

Haldwani, September 10 (HS). Narendra Singh Jangpangi, a resident of Munsiyari in Kumaon region, took charge as Principal Income Tax Commissioner in Haldwani on Tuesday. Jangpangi has been transferred from Moradabad. He is a 1994 batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service and actively contributes to social work along with government service.

Originally a resident of Imala (Madkot) village of Munsiyari development block, Jangpangi started his career from Haldwani itself. He has a long experience in government service. He is also the state vice-president of Uttarakhand State Badminton Association. He has also played a major role in social work. While serving in Bhilwara, Udaipur and Jaipur of Rajasthan, he played an important role in the construction of Uttarakhand Ashram in Pushkar.

He is a founder member of Digdi Group and is active in various social activities. Apart from this, through Jangpangi Munsiyari Youth Welfare Society, he is playing an important role in establishing a library for students and promoting them in various fields. After his arrival in Haldwani, various creative and innovative activities are expected to increase in Kumaon division. Earlier, he has also served in Agra, Bareilly, Mumbai and Dehradun.
