Raasleela shows the way for the union of the soul and the divine: Pandit Atul Krishna Bhardwaj | News India

Korba, September 10 (HS). During the Shreemad Bhagavat Katha Gyaan Yagna being organized by Thandu Ram Parivar (Kadma Wale) in Mehar Vatika of the city, a river of musical stories is flowing. A large number of devotees are gathering to get the holy benefit of listening to the story from the mouth of Katha Vyas Atul Krishna Bhardwaj. Devotees and members of the organizing family are dancing and swaying to the musical bhajans and episodes and getting immersed in the devotion of Bhagavat.

On the sixth day of the story, on Tuesday, the episode of Kansa Vadh, Gopi Geet and Rukmani Vivah was narrated. Acharya presented the episodes of Lord Shri Krishna's Leela in a very touching manner, listening to which the devotees were immersed in the devotion of Radha-Krishna. Pujya Vyas said that the Raasleela performed by Lord Shri Krishna – “shows the way to the union of the soul and the Supreme Soul”. Gopi – means the soul, Krishna means God, the Supreme Soul performed the Raas. The Leela of defeating Kaam is the union of the soul and the Supreme Soul. We want God, but we keep many types of pretense around us. If we want to know or find God, then first of all we will have to know ourselves and remove the veil of attachment that is on us.

Kathavyas said that Krishna as God and Gopi as living beings remove the veil of ignorance and attachment from them through the leela of Chir Haran. Gopi means living beings, Krishna means God, clothes means ignorance. Krishna did not steal any red, green and yellow clothes, rather bathing naked in water is an insult to Lord Varuna, that is why he stole clothes, that is, Chir Haran happened. At that time, Lord Shri Krishna was 5 years old, that is, a 5-year-old child does not have any sexual desire. God said that we have to understand this thing, if you cannot understand and cannot see, I am present everywhere in all of you. The need is to open your inner eyes and see. Raas-leela is actually a spiritual journey of union of living beings and God, by walking on which one gets the experience of infinite peace and happiness. Krishna killed pride in the form of Kansa, pride in the form of Kansa must have had two wives, Aasti, that means attainment.
