New Delhi: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, while speaking on the issue of employment in Texas, said that China has control over global production and if the manufacturing sector in India does not improve, social problems will arise. He said that there is an atmosphere of hatred in Indian politics. He has started the politics of love and brotherhood through the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
BJP and RSS want to limit the role of women to staying at home and cooking food
He considered the issue of employment in India to be important. He said that the reason behind this is that special attention has not been given to the manufacturing sector. Giving the example of China, he said that China has focused on the manufacturing sector and due to this there is no problem of employment. Most of India's goods are made in China. Along with this, he also raised questions on the loan waiver of big businessmen by Indian banks. He said that in India, loans of Rs 16 lakh crore of 25 people have been waived. Many industries can be set up with this amount, but if we talk about loan waiver then the media questions us.
He said that all means of communication with us were closed and because of this we were forced to communicate with people directly. This is why Bharat Jodo Yatra was organised. This journey taught me to connect with people.
He said that Indian men need to change their attitude towards women. He supports the participation of women in politics. That is why he has supported the Women's Reservation Bill.
If women want to start their own business, they should be given financial support. The BJP and the RSS want to restrict women to a specific role. They believe women should stay at home, cook, not talk much. We believe women should be allowed to do what they want.'
Rahul Gandhi, citing the removal of Eklavya's thumb in Mahabharata, said that millions of talented people are being neglected in India. It is not that there are no talented people in India, but their talent is not appreciated.
