Newly appointed District Magistrate Chamoli Sandeep Tiwari told his priorities | News India

Gopeshwar, 09 September (HS). After assuming charge, the newly appointed District Magistrate of Chamoli Sandeep Tiwari stated his priorities in the Collectorate Auditorium on Monday. He said that making the welfare schemes of the government reach the people is one of his priorities.

He told in the press conference that public welfare schemes will be taken to the border areas with the coordination of all the departments. Whatever complaints the public has, the complaints will be resolved quickly by minimizing the response time.

Regarding the progress of works being carried out under the Badrinath Master Plan, the District Magistrate said that the works of the Master Plan are progressing well. In the first phase, about 70 percent of the works have been completed with quality. Keeping in view the public sentiment, the construction work of Aastha Path has been started. The works of the second phase will also be started soon when the water level of the river decreases.

On the condition of roads damaged during the second phase of Chardham Yatra and rain, the District Magistrate said that wherever the Yatra route has become sensitive, it will be repaired as soon as possible. Strong arrangements for road safety will be made in the areas affected by landslides and the Chardham Yatra will be conducted in a smooth, well-organized and safe manner.

Journalists Krantibhatt, Devendra Rawat, Rajpal Bisht, Pramod Semwal, Shekhar Rawat, Jagdish Pokhriyal, Pushkar Chaudhary, Vinod Rawat, Mahanand Bisht, Sandeep Kumar, Manoj Bisht, Surendra Gadiya, Arjun Singh etc were present in the press conference.
