ABVP's general knowledge competition in Himachal Pradesh on October 6 | News India

Shimla, September 9 (HS). Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad's (ABVP) state level Swami Vivekanand General Knowledge Competition will be held on October 6. Registrations for this will be from September 16 to 28. In this state level Swami Vivekanand General Knowledge Competition, a target of registration of 60 thousand students has been set in entire Himachal. The registration fee will be only 50 rupees.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad's state minister Akash Negi told reporters in Shimla on Monday that students from class 9th to 12th can participate in the state level Swami Vivekanand General Knowledge Competition. This year the cash prize money has been increased. The first contestant will be given Rs. 31 thousand, the second will get Rs. 21 thousand and the third will get Rs. 15 thousand. Apart from this, there are also five consolation prizes. The prize money for each consolation prize has been kept at Rs. 11 thousand.

State Minister Akash Negi informed that similar prizes have been fixed at the district level as well, in which the student coming first at the district level will get a memento, certificate along with Rs. 10,000 prize money, the student coming second will get Rs. 7,000 prize money and the student coming third will get Rs. 5,000 prize money. Similarly, after these three prizes at the district level, five consolation prizes have been kept in which Rs. 1,000 each will be given as prize money. Negi informed that this is a good opportunity for the students preparing for competitive exams after 12th, which increases their general knowledge as well as gives them the experience of preparation.

He said that this year there will be different series in these exams. Under this, different questions will be asked in this competition from General Knowledge (Himachal, India, World), Indian Independence Movement, Language (Sanskrit, Hindi and English), General Science, Religion and Culture, Sports, Current Affairs and Logic.
