Dehradun, 09 September (HS). An uncontrolled motorcycle fell into a ditch between Banswara and Bhili road in Rudraprayag district. Two youths riding the bike were seriously injured. SDRF took the injured youths out of the ditch and took them to the hospital.
The SDRF team was informed by the Disaster Control Room Rudraprayag that a motorcycle has lost control and fallen into a ditch between Banswara and Bhili. There were two people riding on the motorcycle. SDRF team is required for rescue. On receiving the information, the SDRF team immediately left for the spot with rescue equipment under the leadership of Sub Inspector Manohar Kanyal from Post Augustmuni.
The SDRF team reached the spot and found that the two persons were coming towards Agastyamuni on a bike. Between Banswara and Bhiri, their bike went out of control and fell into a ditch. The SDRF team, while conducting a joint rescue operation with the police, DDRF and local people, descended into the ditch and with the help of a rope stretcher, pulled out the two persons in an injured condition from the ditch and sent them to the hospital through an ambulance.
