Mumbai, September 9 (HS). Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday took the darshan of Mumbai's famous Lalbaug's King Lord Ganesha. Union Minister Amit Shah also offered turmeric, kumkum and flowers at the feet of Lord Ganesha. After this, Amit Shah bowed his head at Bappa's feet and sought his blessings. On this occasion, many leaders including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, former Union Minister Raosaheb Danve were present.
The Union Home Minister reached Mumbai late on Sunday night. At night, Amit Shah held discussions with the leaders of the NDA alliance's allies in Maharashtra in view of the upcoming assembly elections. On Monday, Amit Shah visited Lord Ganesha installed at the Chief Minister's official residence Varsha Bungalow. After this, Shah visited Lord Ganesha installed at the official residence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Leaders of the NDA alliance were present on the occasion. After this, Amit Shah visited the Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal of Mumbai President Ashish Shelar in Bandra and visited Lord Ganesha. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was in Pune for official work. Therefore, Ajit Pawar met Union Minister Amit at the Mumbai airport and both of them also had a brief discussion. After this, Amit Shah completed his two-day tour and left for Delhi.
