The pace of development in Katihar district is increasing: many important decisions were taken in the coordination committee meeting | News India

Katihar, 09 September HS. A review meeting of the District Coordination Committee was held on Monday in the NIC auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Meena. In the meeting, officials of various departments presented the progress report of the developmental schemes running in their respective areas.

In the meeting, the District Magistrate directed the officers of various departments to prepare a press release of their respective works every day and send it to the District Information and Public Relations Officer, so that updated information about all the works is made available to the general public.

In the meeting, the works of Minority Welfare, Education, Health, Animal Husbandry, PHED, Municipal Corporation, Planning and Development Department, Fisheries, Cooperation, Liquor Prohibition, Revenue, Settlement, District Supply, District Panchayati Raj, Road Construction Division, Rural Works Division and other departments were reviewed.

In the meeting, the District Magistrate directed all the officials to complete the developmental works in progress in various areas of the district in a quality manner as per the department's standards within the stipulated time frame.

Along with this, the Vice President of Physical Education was directed to identify land for playground and sports building office at all the Panchayat level of the district and send the regular report to the District Headquarters.

Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector, Additional Collector Disaster, District Education Officer, District Planning Officer, District Public Relations Officer cum Senior Deputy Collector, Deputy Director Minority Welfare Katihar, Assistant Director Social Security besides other District Level Coordination Committee officials were present in the meeting. In this meeting, the progress of developmental schemes running in various areas of the district was reviewed and necessary instructions were given.
