Indian team announced for Test against Bangladesh: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 16-member Indian team for the first Test match of the two-Test series against Bangladesh starting from September 19 at home.

Rishabh Pant is back

Wicketkeeper and batsman Rishabh Pant has returned to the team. For the first time since March 2024, the Indian team will play a red-ball (Test) series. In the last series played, India defeated England 4-1. This will be the first red ball series for Gautam Gambhir, the newly appointed head coach of the Indian cricket team.

Dhruv Jurel selected as second wicketkeeper
