Farmer protest: The farmers, who are agitating for their many demands including MSP, have once again started preparations for the Delhi march. Farmers have announced 'Delhi Chalo' march on March 6 (Wednesday). In view of this, once again the security arrangements have been increased on the borders of Delhi.
However, while addressing the media at Shambhu border of Haryana-Punjab, farmer leader Tejveer Singh said that on March 6, farmers from all over India will march peacefully towards Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
After the announcement of farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' march, strict surveillance has been increased on the borders of Delhi. Police barricades were seen on the road at Ghazipur border and cement barricades have also been installed. Apart from this, barbed wire was also installed. Police is on alert mode to prevent any untoward incident during the farmers' march in Delhi.
According to farmer leader Tejveer Singh, on March 6, farmers from all over India will march peacefully towards Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Farmers from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar have made full preparations to go to Delhi for the march.
Bharatiya Kisan Union (Shaheed Bhagat Singh) spokesperson Tajveer Singh told a press conference at Shambhu border that preparations for the march till Jantar Mantar in Delhi have been completed. Farmers have also started the journey from the 10th. Our protest is regarding the guarantee of MSP. We appeal to all types of organizations to support us and join us at Jantar Mantar.
