According to Kanpur Police and RPF, Kalindi Express collided with an LPG cylinder placed on the railway track between Barrajpur and Bilhaur on the Anwarganj-Kasganj railway line at around 8.30 pm on September 8. The loco pilot said that he saw some suspicious object on the track, after which he applied brakes, but still the object collided with the train with a loud noise.

Kanpur and Lucknow units of ATS reached the spot and collected evidence. In this case, Additional Commissioner Harish Chandra said that whoever has done this will be caught.
