Sports: England bowled out for 156 in second innings amid rain interruptions | News India

On the third day of the third Test match being played against Sri Lanka at the Oval ground, the England team was all out for just 156 runs in the second innings.

Smith scored the highest 67 runs for England. Sri Lankan fast bowler Lahiru Kumar took four wickets and Fernando took three wickets. Sri Lanka's first innings ended at 263 runs. For Sri Lanka, Pathum Nissanka scored 64 runs in 51 balls with the help of nine fours. For Sri Lanka, captain Dhananjay de Silva scored the highest 69 runs. Kamindu Mendis scored an important 64 runs. Five Sri Lankan batsmen could not even register a double digit score. For England, Gus Atkinson and Josh Hull took three wickets each while Woakes took two wickets.
