Mumbai: Top South actress Shree Leela has been knocking on the doors of Bollywood for quite some time now but her initial attempts to make a Bollywood debut have failed. After uncertainty over the first two projects, it has now been confirmed that she will be making her debut with the film 'Diler' opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Earlier there were rumours that Sri Leela would debut with Varun Dhawan's film. Later the update came that Sri Leela has lost this project. After this, there was talk of Siddharth Malhotra and Sri Leela pairing up in the action film 'Mitti'. But, the film was shelved due to lack of money. Now it has been confirmed that her first Hindi film will be 'Diler' with Ibrahim Ali Khan.
'Diler' is believed to be a sports drama. However, Ibrahim Ali Khan has not yet been able to establish himself in Bollywood. On the other hand, Sreeleela has become a top Telugu star in a very short time. She is compared to Rashmika Mandanna in Telugu. However, after the success of 'Pushpa', Rashmika has also progressed rapidly in Hindi films and currently she has half a dozen big projects.
