Bharatpur, September 8 (HS). A religious conversion centre was caught on Sunday in Kumher area of Deeg district. Bajrang Dal members caught two people from the centre and handed them over to the police. Along with this, Christian religious material recovered from the spot was also handed over to the police.
Bajrang Dal's district convenor Nitesh Kumar said that a religious conversion centre was running here for several months. But due to rain, people from outside were not able to come to the centre today. A religious conversion centre was running in Dahara village for several days. Information about which was being received continuously. Religious conversion was done in the village every Sunday. Today also, on information, about 20 workers of Bajrang Dal reached Dahara village. Where some workers went inside the centre and sat there saying that they were getting their treatment done. In the religious conversion centre, two persons named Anil and Sanjay were telling the women and people present there about Christianity. At the same time, they were speaking ill of the Hindu gods and goddesses. After which they were caught while converting people. During this, those people started creating a ruckus. Both the persons were found with money in their bag, holy water (water given by the priest), a bag, pamphlets inside, books related to Christianity, posters and photos of Jesus Christ. Those people were converting people by luring them with money. Both the persons have been handed over to the police.
Bajrang Dal's district convenor Nitesh Kumar said that on receiving information about the religious conversion centre, our team reached there at 12:45 pm. Around 15 people including four women and five children were present inside the centre. We let them go. But those who were converting people were caught and handed over to the police. Kumher police station officer Banwari Lal Meena said that a person named Nitesh has filed a complaint about religious conversion. A case will be registered and investigation will be done on this.
