Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will organize district level dharnas from September 10 to expose the anti-people policies of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Party's acting president Balwinder Singh Bhunder said that the district level dharna will begin from Ludhiana on September 10, followed by dharnas in Ferozepur on September 11, Fazilka on September 12, Moga on September 13, Sri Muktsar Sahib on September 16, Bathinda on September 17 and Mansa on September 18. District level dharnas will be held in Mansa on September 20, Barnala on September 23 and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
He said the party will explain how the government has withdrawn power subsidy and repeatedly increased VAT on petrol and diesel, hiked bus fares by 23 paise per km and increased taxes on vehicles and land registration charges. Bhundar said law and order has completely collapsed under Bhagwant Mann's leadership and gangsters are running the state during which dacoity, robbery, extortion and murders have become a daily routine. He said this is leading to migration of industries from the state. He said the SAD will expose the government as to how it is working against farmers, traders, labourers, common man and other sections of the society.
