Vice President pays floral tribute to the statue of Nanaji Deshmukh in Chitrakoot | News India

Bhopal, September 7 (HS). Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar came to Chitrakoot in Satna district on a one-day visit on Saturday. Here he, along with his wife Sudesh Dhankhar, paid floral tribute to the statue of Bharat Ratna Rashtra Rishi Nanaji Deshmukh located at Arogya Dham in Chitrakoot. On this occasion, the President of Deendayal Research Institute presented a statue of Lord Shri Ganesh to the Vice President and his wife.

The Vice President reached Chitrakoot on Saturday at around 3:30 pm. Here, Minister in Waiting Minister of State Pratima Bagri welcomed him. She welcomed the Vice President by presenting a bouquet of flowers. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Government's Labor Minister Anil Rajbhar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Backward Class Welfare Narendra Kashyap, Satna Mayor Yogesh Tamrakar, Nagar Panchayat President Sadhna Patel, Rewa Commissioner BS Jamod, IG Vineet Khanna, DIG Saket Prakash Pandey, Collector Anurag Verma and Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Gupta also welcomed the Vice President by presenting a bouquet of flowers at the helipad.

From here, the Vice President reached Arogya Dham directly and paid floral tribute to the statue of Bharat Ratna Rashtrarishi Nanaji Deshmukh. Here, the Vice President and his wife also planted a sapling in the Deendayal Shodh Sansthan campus in the memory of their mother under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. After this, the Vice President left by road to attend the program organized at Jagatguru Rambhadracharya Divyang Rajya Vishwavidyalaya in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh.

After attending the national seminar organized in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, the Vice President returned to Chitrakoot by a special army helicopter and left for Prayagraj by helicopter at 5 pm. The state's Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing Pratima Bagri, Vice Chancellor of Chitrakoot Gramodaya University Prof. Bharat Mishra and senior administrative officials gave him an emotional farewell.
