Nainital, September 7 (HS). Prof. Anil Bisht of the Department of Botany, DSB Campus has been appointed as the Chairman of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Kumaon University Committee. Other members of the committee include Dr. Prakash Chanyal of the Geography Department, Dr. Deepika Pant of the English Department, and Dr. Jitendra Lohani of the Economics Department. This appointment was confirmed by the Registrar.
Kumaon University Teachers' Association (KUTA) congratulated and wished Prof. Anil Bisht on becoming the president. Along with this, he was presented with a shawl and a pomegranate plant. KUTA President Prof. Lalit Tiwari, former President Dr. Neelu Lodhiyal, General Secretary Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dr. Harsh Chauhan, and Dr. Naveen Pandey congratulated the team for this new responsibility.
