Gurugram: Cyber ​​fraud of Rs 10 crore 76 lakh busted across the country | News India

Gurugram, September 7 (HS). Gurugram Police is continuously achieving success in solving cyber fraud cases. In this episode, the police has now taken strict cognizance of 2972 ​​complaints of cyber fraud and has revealed cases of fraud worth Rs 10 crore 76 lakh from the 8 arrested accused. This information was given by Assistant Police Commissioner Cyber ​​Crime Priyanshu Diwan on Saturday.

Accused of fraud Satish Sudhar resident of Sudhro Ki Dhani District Jodhpur Rajasthan has been arrested by Investigation Officer PSI Seema at Police Station Cyber ​​Crime East Gurugram. Divyakaran, R. Surya and Rajkumar were arrested from Gurugram by Investigation Officer Head Constable Bhagat along with police team at Police Station Cyber ​​West Gurugram. Neeraj alias Shubham, Murjad Singh Shekhawat, Nand Kishore, Aamir Ahmed alias Ajju were arrested by Investigation Officer Head Constable Manish at Police Station Cyber ​​Manesar. Mobile phones and other equipment recovered by Gurugram Police from the possession of the accused were investigated by Indian Cyber ​​Crime Coordination Center. During this, it was found that there are 2972 ​​complaints of fraud of about 10 crore 76 lakh rupees against the accused across the country and 124 cases are registered against them. Out of these cases, 9 cases are registered in Haryana. Out of this, 1 case is registered in Cyber ​​Crime East Gurugram Police Station, 1 case in Cyber ​​Crime West Police Station and 1 case is registered in Cyber ​​Crime Manesar Gurugram Police Station.

They used to cheat in the name of investing in the stock market

In the investigation conducted by Gurugram Police, it was revealed that the above accused used to commit fraud by making people invest in the share market through UPI and Telegram and transfer money etc. The police team recovered Rs 60 thousand, 2 mobile phones, 2 passports, other equipment/bank accounts and other documents from the possession of the accused. On the basis of their investigation report, Gurugram Police has revealed the cyber crimes committed by the accused.
