Bhagalpur, 7 September (HS). Bhagalpur Police and Banka Police have jointly taken major action against illegal mining, storage and transportation. During this, 04 tractors and 04 Jugaad vehicles loaded with illegal sand were seized under Sajaur police station and one person was arrested, while sand stored in large quantities was seized in Amarpur police station area. City SP Shriraj gave information to this effect on Saturday.
It is noteworthy that as per the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Bhagalpur, continuous action is being taken against illegal mining, storage and transportation. In this sequence, raids were conducted in Sajaur and Amarpur police station areas in a joint operation by Deputy Superintendent of Police Law and Order Bhagalpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police City-02 Bhagalpur and Banka SDPO.
