Dhamtari, 6 September (HS). A meeting of the peace committee was held to celebrate Ganesh festival peacefully and to ensure cleanliness and safety norms are followed. It was said in the meeting that the committees that follow cleanliness and safety norms in the pandal will be rewarded by the Municipal Corporation. Also, instructions were given that banned plastic should not be used in the pandal.

Sound system and DJ should be used according to the prescribed time and decibel, traffic rules should be followed, religious tolerance should be maintained. There should be no anti-social activities in the pandal. Cleanliness should be taken care of in the surrounding area and inside the pandal. Garbage van will come to the pandals daily. Garbage should be thrown in the van only. POP idols should not be used. Sound decibel should be kept low following the court's instructions.

Members of Ganesh Utsav Committee, Chairman, Corporation Commissioner Vinay Kumar Poyam, SDM Vibhor Aggarwal, DSP Neha Pawar, Deputy Commissioner Corporation PC Sarwa, Police Station Incharge were present in the meeting.
