Chief Minister took stock of the preparations for the Prime Minister's program

Jorhat (Assam), 05 March (Hindustan Reporter). Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today appeared at Lachit Maidam courtyard, the burial place of historical Lachit Barphukan, located in Lahdaigarh of Teok in the district. The Chief Minister took stock of the ongoing preparations for the Prime Minister's visit to Lachit Maidam, the burial place of Lachit Barphukan on March 9.

The Chief Minister gave many necessary directions to the officials on security and other issues.

During this, ministers Jogen Mohan, Jayant Mallabaruva, state BJP president Bhavesh Kalita along with many state and district level police and civil administration officials were present along with the Chief Minister.

It is noteworthy that State Information and Broadcasting Minister Piyush Hazarika was seen standing at the venue for several days regarding the Prime Minister's program.
