Piprakothi Community Health Centre inaugurated | News India

East Champaran, 6 September (HS). The Community Health Center building constructed near the nursery in Piprakothi block of the district at a cost of seven crore 40 lakhs was inaugurated on Friday in virtual mode by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizers JP Nadda. After which former minister of Bihar government and local MLA Pramod Kumar inaugurated the newly constructed hospital by cutting the ribbon.

On the occasion, MLA Kumar said that the construction of this hospital at Piprakothi, a national level crossing in Champaran, the land of work of Mahatma Gandhi, will provide great convenience to the general public. It is noteworthy that this community health center has been built with 30 beds. Its ground floor has six separate rooms for registration counter, two OTs, counters, X-ray, ultrasound, lab, OPD. It will have a total of 11 doctors including six specialist doctors, although at present there are only three doctors.

The MLA said that soon all the facilities will be available under the roof of this health center building. On this occasion, Block Pramukh Rajneesh Kumar Yadav, SHO Khalid Akhtar, PHC in-charge Dr. Shivani Gupta, BDO Mohini Kashyap, CO Sunil Kumar, Dr. Dhananjay Kumar, Health Manager Sarvendra Kumar Sudhanshu, Dr. Manish Kumar, Head Clerk Alok Kumar, BCM Shilpi Kumari, Rajiv Ranjan of WHO, Raju Singh Patel, Ravindra Sahni, Kameshwar Chaurasia, Lavkishore Nishad, Panchayat Samiti member Ritaj Gupta, Munna Gupta, Yogi Manjhi, Akhilesh Pandey, Gunjan Jaiswal, Manish Kushwaha and many others were present.
