Three fraudsters arrested for duping people of Delhi NCR by trapping them in the trap of tele calling | News India

Ghaziabad, 6 September (HS). Indirapuram Kotwali police on Friday arrested three clever thugs who used to cheat people of Delhi NCR by trapping them in the trap of tele calling while sitting in a mini traveler. The three accused used to call credit card holders and make them invest by luring them with redeem points. Police have recovered a mini traveler bus, 20 phones, 16 SIM cards, 31 pages with names and numbers of credit card holders, 30 batteries, four check books and three copies of rent agreement from the three.

ACP Indirapuram Swatantra Kumar Singh said on Friday that Sushant Kumar, resident of Nand Vihar Dwarka Sector 16, Delhi (originally a resident of Trivandrum, Kerala), Sunny Kashyap, resident of Vikas Kunj, Farrukhnagar Tilamode, Aman Goswami, resident of Raj Nagar Colony, Loni Border police station have been arrested.

Accused Sushant told during police interrogation that a total of seven people work in his gang. In which a girl provides them the data of credit card holders. Later all the accused sit in a mini traveler bus and roam around different places including Indirapuram and call the credit card holders. In which they cheat all of them by making them invest on the pretext of earning profit from redeem points. One member of the gang used to provide mobile and SIM to all of them.

ACP says that the gang members used to contact people and collect all the information about investments on fake websites. Later, they used to redeem the points from the fake site and do shopping with it. During this, they used to transfer the remaining money to their account.
