The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released data on Friday that the country's foreign exchange reserves increased by $ 2.299 billion to $ 683.987 billion in the week ended August 30. According to the data, during this period, foreign currency assets (FCA), which are considered an important part of the foreign exchange reserves, increased by $ 1.485 billion to $ 599.037 billion.
According to RBI, the reserve value of gold reserves increased by $862 million to $61.859 billion. Similarly, the Special Drawing Right (SDR) increased by $9 million to $18.468 billion. Apart from this, India's reserve with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) increased by $58 million to $4.622 billion.
