Long: Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Member of Parliament from Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency, today condemned the hike in the prices of diesel and petrol in Punjab by the Punjab Government during her thanksgiving tour of the villages of Lambi constituency. On being made the in-charge of Gidderbaha district elections, she appealed to the Akali workers to strengthen the Akali Dal by working hard in these local elections.
Harsimrat Kaur Badal, who became MP for the fourth time from Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency, has been visiting the villages of Lambi assembly constituency of this parliamentary constituency for several days. Today she visited villages like Khema Kheda, Phulu Kheda, Arniwala, Fatehpur Maniyawala, Diyun Kheda, Tappa Kheda etc. of the assembly constituency. Talking to the media in village Fatehpur Maniyawala, she raised questions on the ongoing session of the Punjab government and said that no one has talked about the interests of the people of Punjab, every section is troubled, whether it is law and order or health facilities. The Mohalla clinics given by the Chief Minister are closed.
On the other hand, the people of Punjab are already in debt, now by increasing the prices of diesel and petrol, they have put more burden on the people. This will increase inflation further. The Chief Minister does not care about the people of Punjab. On being made in-charge of the by-election from Gidderbaha constituency, he said that the party has given him this honour for the first time. Badal party candidates can raise the voice of the people of Punjab in the assembly by winning.
