Kejriwal's bail: The bail plea of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was heard in the Supreme Court on Thursday. Let us tell you that Kejriwal had challenged the CBI's arrest in the Supreme Court and sought relief. After hearing the case, the court has reserved the decision.
Another interesting incident happened during the hearing in the court, when former US President Donald Trump was mentioned in the middle of the debate on the case. Actually, Kejriwal's lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi mentioned the word Trump during the hearing. After this, he joked that nowadays Trump has become a dangerous word.
'Trump is a dangerous word'
According to a Bar and Bench report, Singhvi argued in favour of Kejriwal and said, “Trump will be there in Article 21 of the Constitution.” Then he suddenly stopped and said that 'Trump' has become a 'dangerous word' these days. After this, he continued his argument further.
Earlier, a bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Ujjwal Bhuiyan had heard Kejriwal's case in the Supreme Court. During the hearing, arguments were presented by both the sides throughout the day. The Supreme Court also said that bail cases take a lot of time. Let us tell you that Kejriwal has already got bail in the ED case.
