Sagar, September 5 (HS). Collector Sandeep G R said in the meeting of the District Peace Committee on Thursday that all religious festivals should be celebrated with full harmony and brotherhood. He said that Sagar has always celebrated all festivals in a peaceful, harmonious and dignified manner. Keeping this tradition alive, all the residents of the district should happily celebrate the festivals.
He said that all religious organizations should pay special attention to law and order in their processions or religious events. Necessary arrangements will be ensured in this regard, which will mainly include electricity supply, street lights, drinking water, road repair work, traffic system, all arrangements of immersion site by the Municipal Corporation, and other necessary arrangements. He said that the festival should be celebrated by participating in processions with full dignity and peace.
Superintendent of Police Vikas Kumar Shahwal said that while celebrating religious festivals, cooperate with the police and take care of law and order. All religious organizations should give the names and mobile numbers of the officers, officials and members of their respective organizations and committees to the concerned police station in-charge. He said that all processions will be monitored through video cameras. He directed that all the members of the organizing committee participating in the procession should be in their uniforms so that they can be identified separately.
On this occasion, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer PC Sharma, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rajkumar Khatri, Additional Superintendent of Police Lokesh Kumar Sinha, City Magistrate Juhi Garg, Sagar SDM Aditi Yadav along with other officers and members of the District Peace Committee were present.
Single window clearance on the concept of ease of doing business will simplify the industrial working system in Sagar
Collector Sandeep G R held a meeting with the leading industrialists of Sagar district on Thursday. In which information was taken about their enterprises, products and industrial processes. The collector also discussed their problems with various industrialists and assured them that necessary action will be taken on all the points mentioned by them and all the processes will be simplified with single window clearance on the basis of the ease of doing business concept.
He said that all the basic facilities related to various industrial units in Sagar's Sidgunwa Industrial Area will also be ensured. In this regard, the Collector has instructed the Chief Engineer of MPEB to ensure uninterrupted power supply through separate feeders in the industrial area. Similarly, he instructed the GM of Jal Nigam, Mr. Gaurav Singhai, to ensure proper arrangements for water supply.
While discussing with the industrialists, the collector said that we should bring our industries to the next level and work towards getting Sagar's products recognized globally. For this, the government administration will provide full support. He said that by simplifying the procedures, local products can be made available to the global market through e-commerce.
Emphasizing on the limited nature of natural resources, the collector said that it is the duty of all of us to pay attention to environmental conservation and for this, we should adopt measures like solar plants and rainwater harvesting in our industrial units. On one hand, this will make your business cost effective and on the other hand, we will also be able to work towards environmental conservation.
