The strong will and dedication of Alok Pandey, Physics lecturer of Government Inter College Vajyula, Bageshwar, Uttarakhand, has awakened the supernatural nature of education. There is no comparison to the training and dedication of environmental protection along with teaching in a clean and picturesque environment. His commitment towards the nation, society and nature has become an inspiration for others today.
Teacher Alok Pandey, taking social concern as a mission, is motivating students for environmental protection and cleanliness along with education. Alok Pandey, who started his career as a government school teacher in the year 2007, gave priority to responsibilities towards the society from the very beginning. He is constantly making students aware about practical knowledge, environmental protection and cleanliness along with better education. He taught at Government Higher Secondary School Kotfulwari, Government Inter College Salani. Currently posted at Government Inter College Vajyula. Along with teaching science class students, he awakened the spirit of environmental protection in the school. He worked hard with the students and made an important contribution in getting the Tarushree Award for the school in 2017.
He received appreciation at the state level for his teaching work and was awarded the Governor's Award in 2017. Pandey, who is constantly dedicated to the society, took over the post of District Secretary of the Red Cross Committee in the year 2018. Just two years later, under his able leadership, the Red Cross Committee of the district secured the first position in the state. For this, he was honored by the Governor in Dehradun.
During the Covid period, under his leadership, the committee distributed ration to about 1600 families through its efforts. The officials, workers and people of the committee contributed financially in this. Currently, the only ambulance of the Red Cross Committee of the state is also running in the district due to his efforts. Every year, the committee provides relief material to the affected people during the disaster period. On his initiative, the volunteers have formed Sanjeevani Group. Every month some active members deposit money in it. With this amount, needy patients are helped. Alok Pandey, who is currently holding the post of District Secretary, aims to serve every distressed person and provide better education to every student.
Tree man Kishan Singh Malda says that Alok Pandey is not only a learned teacher, he is also a true well-wisher of the environment. I have had the opportunity to visit his school several times and plant trees. Apart from environment and water conservation, he is also doing commendable work for cleanliness.
BJP District President and Vice Chairman of Red Cross Committee Indra Singh Farswan says that Alok Pandey is an excellent, dedicated teacher and efficient leader. Wherever he lives, he keeps teaching people something or the other. It is very pleasant to live and work with him.
