Fatehabad, September 5 (HS). Two youths broke into a house in Bhattu and stole cash worth lakhs. When the house owner reached home after getting the information, both the youths fled from the spot after seeing him. Later the house owner lodged a complaint with the police in this regard. On Thursday, Bhattukalan police registered a case and started searching for the two youths.
In a complaint to the police, Sonu Kumar, a resident of Model Town Bhattu, said that he had gone to Mandi for some work the previous night and his mother was sleeping alone at home. At the same time, his neighbor called him and informed him that two youths had entered his house by jumping over the back wall with the intention of theft. On receiving the information, he immediately returned home and on seeing him, the thieves who had entered the house fled from the spot. He identified the two youths as Kanhaiya alias Kanha son of Maniram and Lakhan alias Kanha son of Jagga Ram, residents of Pratap Nagar Bhattu Mandi.
Sonu said that after this, when he checked the things at home, he found that the said youth had stolen Rs. 1 lakh 85 thousand kept in the cupboard from his house. On this, he lodged a complaint with the police. In this case, the police have registered a case against both the youths and started searching for them.
