A major accident has taken place in Sikkim. An army vehicle has met with an accident. It was reported that the army vehicle fell into a valley while it was going from Pedong in West Bengal to Pakyong district of Sikkim. 4 soldiers travelling in the vehicle have died.

According to officials, the four Indian Army soldiers were going from Pedong in West Bengal to Zuluk on a silt road in Pakyong district of Sikkim on Thursday. At the same time, an army vehicle fell into the valley about 700 to 800 feet below near Dalopchand Dara on the Rank Rongli State Highway. Four soldiers including a JCO have died in this accident.
Who was in the vehicle?
The deceased include driver Pradeep Patel from Madhya Pradesh, sculptor W Peter from Manipur, Naik Gursev Singh from Haryana and Subedar K Thangapandi from Tamil Nadu. All the deceased soldiers, including the driver, were posted in a unit in Binaguri, West Bengal.
