95 thousand boxes of mangoes arrived in APMC market

Mumbai: On the day of Gudi Pada, one of the three and a half Muhurtas, more emphasis is given on buying new things, vehicles, houses. Similarly, the purchase of mangoes also increases on the day of Sawan. Therefore, on the occasion of Gudi Pada on Tuesday, 95,240 boxes of mangoes arrived in the APMC market of Vashi. It is also learned that many boxes were sold on the same day.

The arrival of mangoes has started increasing in the wholesale market of Mumbai since few days, despite the increase in income, the price remains stable. Due to the hot weather, the mango fruit has fallen early. Therefore the income of opium in the market is increasing.

At the time of decline, 67,016 boxes from Deogarh, Ratnagiri and 28,144 boxes from other states totaling 95,420 boxes had come into the market. However, the price of Ambani box ranges from Rs 2000 to Rs 2500.

Mango juice and Puranpoli are served on the day of Gudi Padwan especially in Maharashtrian culture. Also, since it is an auspicious day, many auspicious events also take place on this day. Therefore, mangoes and mango juice are also purchased on a large scale for demand and donation. Therefore, on the day of Gudi Padwa, a unique situation is seen regarding the income and purchase of mangoes in the APMC market.
