Moradabad, 09 December (HS). Joint Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association, Dr. Ajay Vikram Pathak said on Monday that four players from Moradabad have won gold medals in the state level sub-junior karate competition. On this achievement, all four players were selected for the All India Sub Junior Karate Championship. Apart from this, two have won silver and three have won bronze medal in Sub Junior Karate competition.
Today, all the winners and participating players were honored by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Sonakpur Sports Stadium, Ramganga Vihar and best wishes for their bright future. Dr. Ajay Vikram Pathak told that the state level sub-junior karate competition was held at Chowk Stadium in Lucknow on 7th and 8th December. In which Vani Pandey, Prajwal Rai and Aarav Kumar Pathik of Moradabad won gold medals. On this achievement, these four players were selected for the All India Sub Junior Karate Championship to be held at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi on 14-15 December. Dr. Pathak further said that apart from this, in the state level competition, Vidhan Kumar and Lavish Nagar got silver medals and Aadya Kumar Pandey, Arnav Kumar Pathik and Prabodh Kumar Gupta got bronze medals. During this, association secretaries Ashay Verma and Ajay Kumar Verma, Avni Kumar Pandey, Rajeev Bhatnagar, Pankaj Kumar, Nishu Nagar, Sarita Pandey, Leena Bhardwaj, Sonam Vishnoi were also present.
