At present, the fitment factor of central employees under the 7th Pay Commission is 2.57. And basic salary is 18,000. It is believed that Modi government can increase the fitment factor in the new pay commission from 2.57 to 2.86 percent.
With this, the minimum salary of government employees will increase by 186 percent to Rs 51,480. There is also a possibility of pension increasing by 186 percent!
