8 lakh 27 thousand voters will vote at 1320 booths in East Champaran district.

East Champaran, 04 November (HS). As soon as the bugle of PACS elections has been sounded in the district, the district administration has geared up for the preparations. Preparations are being made in full swing by the district administration.

Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Saurabh Jorwal, a meeting was held with all the concerned officials of the PACS Cell constituted for the PACS elections in his office room on Monday, in which the preparations for the elections were reviewed. During the review, District Cooperative Officer, East Champaran informed that a total of 336 PACS will be elected in 5 phases between November 26 and December 3 in the district. A total of 1320 booths have been identified for the PACS elections, in which a total of 8 lakh 27 thousand voters are expected to participate.
