8 feet long crocodile found on the streets of Maharashtra, video goes viral

A video of an eight-foot-long crocodile crawling on a rain-soaked road in Maharashtra's coastal city of Ratnagiri has gone viral on social media. An official said that the video was shot by an autorickshaw driver amid rain in the Chinchanaka area of Chiplun town in Ratnagiri district. In the video, the crocodile can be seen roaming around fearlessly and people are also passing by it.

Some other vehicles are also visible in the video and an autorickshaw driver is seen trying to chase the crocodile by switching on the headlights. The officer said the crocodile might have drifted into the city from the nearby Shiva or Vashishti rivers.
