Canada Visa: A scam has emerged where acceptance letters submitted by students to Canada on student visa are fake. It is believed that 80 percent of these letters are from Gujarat and Punjab. As a result, 7,000 to 8,000 students are expected to return from Canada after Daly’s handover, Canada’s top immigration official in charge of international student affairs announced on November 15.
Students’ dream of going abroad and settling will be fulfilled
To go from Gujarat to Canada, the student’s parents will have to spend around Rs 25 lakh. If students are deported, their chances of getting a repeat visa will be lost. In this way the dream of thousands of students to settle abroad will be fulfilled.
Canadian government’s tough stance
Visa expert Pankaj Patel says, ‘If the acceptance letter submitted by the students is found to be fake, their admission will be cancelled. He will be sent back to India. As a result of the strained relations between the Government of Canada and the Government of India, the Canadian government may take an aggressive stance on this issue. They also do not want their system to be compromised. In such a situation, many students from Gujarat and Punjab may have to return.
A letter of acceptance from a Canadian university is sought during the visa process. Actually this letter is not from the university, but from the visa consultants. This thing has come to light recently. So around November 15, it was revealed that 10,000 fake approval letters were issued by the Canadian government.
Students will have to bear the cost of the process of moving to Canada
In such a situation, the fear of hundreds of students from Gujarat being sent back from Canada has increased. These students will have to bear the cost of the process of moving to Canada. Whether they will get a chance to apply in future is also a question. After becoming a permanent resident of Canada, their dream of settling in Canada or any other country is also likely to be fulfilled.
