Paper Leak: At present, there are allegations of paper leak in some national level examinations including NEET, students and opposition are protesting on this issue. However, paper leak becomes a big problem. According to various reports, 70 cases of paper leak have been reported in 15 states in the last seven years. The effect of which has been seen on about 1.7 crore examinees.
These states have the highest number of cases
If we look at the cases of paper leak, such cases have been seen the most in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Gujarat. The issue of paper leak was also much discussed during the elections. Political parties were accusing each other, however, as soon as the elections were over, this issue seemed to disappear from the debate. In such a situation, doubts are also being raised whether the politicians and the paper leak mafia are working together.
14 incidents of paper leak in Gujarat
Not only the main recruitment exam but also incidents of paper leak have come to the fore in higher education examinations and school examinations. Bihar Board's 10th class papers have been leaked six times. In West Bengal, state board exam papers have been leaked 10 times in seven years. In Tamil Nadu, class 10 and 12 papers were leaked two years ago. In Rajasthan, 14 incidents of paper leak of competitive examinations have been reported from 2015 to 2023. This report states that 14 incidents of paper leak have been reported in Gujarat during seven years. Nine incidents of paper leak were reported in Uttar Pradesh from 2017 to 2024.
