The civil aviation network in the country has been severely disrupted for the last three days. The law and order situation in the country seems to be becoming a joke. In the last one week, various Indian airlines received around 70 fake calls. All the calls contained bomb threats on domestic or international flights. Apart from this, in one call a threat was given to blow up the train with a bomb. The important thing is that no one knows where all these calls came from, how they were posted on social media, who made them and what is the agenda behind them. The criminals have been caught but they are all minor boys. It is not clear whether they did all this just to enjoy the system or as they say to bet each other or to take revenge or to misuse social media. In the last one week, the aviation industry has suffered a loss of around Rs 70 crore due to fake calls.
70 fake calls in the last seven days in the country and everyone including IB, NIA, security agencies, aviation authority, Home Ministry and police calling without any information is really thought provoking. All this started from 14th October. If we look at it this way, sporadic incidents of such calls have been happening for the last three months. However, everyone has been seriously prepared for investigation in this direction since seven days ago. On October 14, a false call was received about bombs in three flights. Then on October 15, a call came that there were bombs and terrorists on 8 flights. Apart from this, on October 16, a call was received about bombs in 7 flights. All these calls and messages were conducted through social media. It hacked the accounts of some individuals and used their names to send messages or make calls. Now it is just a fake call or a new system by terrorists to run the agencies or different calls and messages are made in the name of specific caste to break the communal unity of the country. Nothing is clear yet. Since then, at least fifty other such calls have been received by various airlines. Due to this, the schedule of domestic and international flights in the country has been disturbed and all the airlines have gone bankrupt.
A fake call causes an average loss of Rs 3 to 4 crores.
According to informers, any flight has to make emergency landing if it receives a fake call after take off. Evacuating all the passengers, arranging their hotel stay, accommodating the crew members and pilots and many other expenses will have to be incurred. Talking about the beginning of the week, on October 14, a Boeing 777 flight took off from India for New York. A few hours later, the airline got a call that there was a bomb on the flight. It was immediately diverted and landed at Delhi airport. This aircraft weighing 350 tonnes wasted 100 tonnes of fuel in landing within two hours of takeoff. Therefore the airlines had to pay more than Rs 1 crore. After this, including the expenses of hosting passengers, flight crew and pilots, compensation amount to passengers, flight management, parking charges at the respective airports, there is a loss of Rs 3 to 4 crore in one fake call. , security check and other charges. In this way, more than 70 flights have suffered a loss of more than Rs 70 crore.
The flight was diverted and investigation was done in Ahmedabad.
Last Wednesday was also very worrying for India. Last Wednesday, it was the turn of the Civil Aviation Department, police and security agencies to march not only in the country but also abroad. On Wednesday, calls were received about bomb threats in at least eight flights. AXA Air's Delhi-Bangalore flight, Indigo's Mumbai-Delhi flight, Indigo's Riyadh-Mumbai flight, Indigo's Mumbai-Singapore flight, Indigo's Chennai-Lucknow flight and two Spice Jet flights are under threat. Due to this, there was chaos at various airports across the country. The Mumbai-Delhi flight was immediately diverted to Ahmedabad and investigation was conducted. Nothing was found in the flight. All the flights yielded nothing but hours of people's time and a waste of time, energy and money of the systems and agencies.
Preparation to take strict steps by changing the rules
The head of the Civil Aviation Security Bureau recently made some important statements about the threat of bombs on planes. He said, now the time has come to take strict action against these miscreants and false threats. The government has made preparations to amend the law and provide for strict punishment and heavy fine. Recently, the government and aviation security agencies have become more aggressive after receiving more than 40 flight bomb threats on Saturday and Sunday. The Civil Aviation Rules of 1934 and 1937 will be amended. Making such fake calls will be classified as a very serious crime. Apart from this, punishment of more than five years or up to 10 years is also being considered against those who make such calls or spread fear by spreading rumours. Apart from this, they will also be put in no-fly category for five years, due to which the accused will not be able to fly anywhere.
Alert was put in Canada while fighter planes had to be sent to Singapore

Its emergency landing was made at Iqaluit Airport in Canada. After this the passenger was taken out and the flight was examined for hours, but nothing was found.
